International Week for Non-Teaching Staff

Dates: 24 - 27 April 2018


It is our pleasure to welcome our international partners to attend the International Week for Non-Teaching Staff in Tampere, Finland on 24-27 April 2018.

The purpose of the week is to find opportunities for international co-operation, to benchmark and share best practises, to learn from each other and to network with each other. We look forward to sharing this intercultural and inspirational week together with you!



Programme of the week is built around Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) and it includes getting to know the main campus and the university scheme in Tampere, a workshop around intercultural communication, a session around safety and security in the world of international higher institutions - as well as leisure and networking activities in the evenings.

During the week, Friday (April 27) has been reserved for individual/group meetings to better respond to the attendees' needs. on this day, you will have an opportunity to benchmark different services and practices of TAMK and share views on topics related to your own work.

- Study Services

- Working Life & Alumni Services
- HR

One of the highlights of the week is the traditional sauna evening by the lake on Wednesday, so do not forget to bring your swimming gear in case you want to try refreshing in the cool lake like a pro!

The participation fee for the International Week is 120 € which includes the training programme and all social events mentioned in the programme.


The deadline for applications is February 12, 2018. The selected participants will be informed at the latest by March 1st.have been informed.

The number of participants for the week will be limited to 25, with the maximum number of two attendees per partner university.

The programme will take place in the city of Tampere, at the TAMK main campus (address: Kuntokatu 3, 33520 Tampere).


The accepted participants can book their accommodation in any hotel of their choice located in the city center. More detailed information and recommendations will be given directly to the accepted participants via email.

The participants are expected to cover their travel, accommodation and daily allowance expenses independently from their own funds, e.g. Erasmus+ staff mobility or other funds. There will be a  participation fee of 120 €. The fee will cover the daily programme as well as the planned evening activities. The payment will act as a confirmation of your place after acceptance. Accepted participants will get the payment information with the acceptance letter.
