Companies and other organizations can hire groups of TAMK students to carry out projects. TAMK student cooperatives accept commissions in the fields of business administration, business information systems, music, media, and ICT engineering. By participating in projects for real customers, students also earn study credit. See the different possibilities and feel free to contact us.
In TAMK's entrepreneurship unit, Proacademy, the students work in teams or cooperatives. These cooperatives carry out projects for companies and organizations. Proacademy also runs an innovation service called PILOTTI; this is a high speed service in which student team enterprises solve the customer's problem in 12 or 24 hours. The commission may be to generate ideas for a special campaign, to develop a product or service, or to increase the effectiveness of sales work.
TAMK's media and music students have also formed cooperatives, which offer media services to clients. MediataideM is a cooperative which designs and produces websites, logos, print advertisements, video commercials, and business cards. Visual expression experts are available for all tasks. The MusicActive cooperative operates in the field of sound and music, and produces events, sound reproduction services, as well as radio commercials.

The Demola cooperative involves students from all three universities in Tampere: TAMK, the University of Tampere, and Tampere University of Technology. In Demola, the students work in multidisciplinary teams to develop companies' ideas into marketable products and services. The projects can be related to technical applications, digital media and games, social innovations, and business concepts, to mention just a few.
Y-campus is where students of TAMK, Tampere University, and Tampere University of Technology study entrepreneurship. Companies can commission students to develop some aspect of their marketing and sales operations, making use of the students'creative energy and fresh ideas.
If you have an idea for a small project which could be done by an individual student, please contact TAMK's Student Recruitment Services. We will publicize the commission among the students, and can also help with defining the task and choosing the right student for the job.
