Regional Higher Education NetworkThe Regional Higher Education Network is a part of TAMK's regional operations. It focuses on adult education and services aimed at working life. The regional higher education representatives in Ikaalinen, Mänttä-Vilppula, Virrat and Ruovesi, and Sastamala represent TAMK locally. Their task is to promote education, RDI, and regional impact.
A total of 25 field-specific advisory councils support the development of TAMK's degree programmes. Their purpose is to maintain continuous interaction between TAMK and working life. Representatives from working life, student union members, and persons in charge of degree programmes are invited to each advisory council. The advisory councils have an important role in anticipating changing needs for labour and education, developing the curricula, and monitoring the quality of TAMK's education.
In addition to the field-specific advisory councils, TAMK's Regional Higher Education Network is supported by three municipal advisory councils (in Ikaalinen, Mänttä-Vilppula, and Virrat).
TAMK's organization consists of five areas of operations:
- Education and R&D
