Applying to any programme is done through the Finnish national portal Studyinfo. This page - together with the programme specific pages - contains all the information you need to apply successfully and join the TAMK community.

How to apply

The application to all programmes is done through the national database Studyinfo. In addition to the official application, programmes can have some or all of the following:

  • Pre-task essay or assignment
  • Work experience or CV forms
  • Online interviews
  • On-site examinations in Finland and/or abroad

All programmes require you to submit some relevant documentation (photo ID, educational history, work experience etc.) and information on this is available on the application form.

The admissions criteria to all programmes are a combination of national guidelines (or legislation) and criteria set by the degree programme in question. All detailed information can be found on the programme-specific websites below:

Transfer students

Applying for transfer is possible, if you have a valid study right in a degree programme in another Finnish higher education institution (transfer to TAMK) or you are changing your degree programme (transfer within TAMK).

Use transfer application if
-    you want to change your degree programme to the same or similar study field to TAMK and/or
-    you want to change your degree programme to the same or similar study field within TAMK

Students must have completed a minimum of 45 credits during the first study year in their current higher education institution. Additional requirements can be found in the degree programme criteria.

All Finnish transfer applicants to TAMK BBA in International Business programme must take into account that there is a requirement for Finnish students to complete a 4 – 6 months exchange study period in one of our 150 partner universities, or alternatively, a minimum of 5 months of practical training abroad.

Transfer Application, Spring 2018

The application period is 2 - 16 May 2018. The application period ends 16 May at 15.00. Studies begin at the beginning of the autumn term.
Student admission results are published 28 June at the latest.
Study place has to be accepted by 31 July at 15.00.

Tuition fee
Finnish higher education institutions must by law charge tuition fees from degree students who are not citizens of countries of the European Union (EU), the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland. The tuition fee for TAMK's bachelor-level degree students is 9800 € / academic year.
