TAMK is prepared to continue Tampere3 project

Tampere University of Applied Sciences is prepared to continue the negotiations to advance the Tampere3 project, because the goals of Tampere3 project are seen so valuable for both students and society. Tampere3 would become a university concern which would benefit entire Finland and would also be significant internationally.  In addition, it would have a strong influence on the industry, commerce, the entire Finnish working life.

The Board of Tampere University of Applied Sciences Ltd decided on November 24, 2016 meeting to authorize the Chairman of the Board and the President to sign the new university's charter of foundation commitment to establish the Tampere3 university concern.

The Tampere city council decided on November 21, 2016 meeting that the City of Tampere will participate in the founding of New University and will invest, as a founding member, the shares of Tampere University of Applied Sciences Ltd owned by the city to the foundation's own capital.
