Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) concluded a strategic partnership agreement with The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) in the Netherlands.

THUAS is a multidisciplinary higher education institution with almost 26,000 students from 140 countries. Its seven faculties offer a total of 60 bachelor-level and 8 master-level programmes.

The five-year strategic cooperation agreement was signed in Hague on 16 March 2017. The agreement aims at closer educational and RDI cooperation between the higher education institutions. Several joint research and development themes have already been identified. The agreement also enables mobility cooperation in all the joint fields of the HEIs.

At the agreement signing, representatives of both THUAS and TAMK stated that brave openings can be expected from the strategic partnership in future. At its best, the agreement will complement and develop expertise in both HEIs.
