Home country: Russia
What are you currently doing: Assistant Director & Interpreter for BR Electronics (Norwegian-Russian company)
How did you find out about TAMK and what made you choose it for your studies?
I heard about TAMK before I started studying there. There was a conference called Snow Change which took place in Murmansk and we, Russian students, hosted foreign students from TAMK in Murmansk. In 2005 I got an offer to study at AMK as an exchange student for half a year. So I agreed and I liked the process so much, that I decided to study further. I dropped my studies in Murmansk, passed the entrance exam with TAMK and stayed for 3 more years in Tampere.
What did you like most about Tampere and Finland?
Everything! People, city, the country…I have met so many nice people there! From different countries, different nationalities and I am still in good relationships with most of them!
In what ways have your studies contributed to your professional and personal life?
Studying in TAMK improved not only my knowledge, but also my English speaking skills. And after TAMK I got another degree as an Interpreter.
How has TAMK supported your needs as a student?
I got everything I needed. TAMK is well-equipped and gives access to classes whenever you need. Again, people there are really helpful and friendly.
What would you say to anyone considering studying at TAMK?
