Over 400 students enrolled on Open University of Applied Sciences

At the Open University of Applied Sciences it is possible to complete courses belonging to TAMK's bachelor's degree studies regardless of your age or prior education.

During August 125 students entered Open University of Applied Sciences (Open UAS) and started so called "path studies" of 60 credits.

Path students are performing their studies alongside first year degree students. If studies are proceeding well there is a possibility to apply for degree-student through the joint application process in Spring 2017.

Altogether 428 students enrolled on path studies. Enrolment was bigger than the available positions in degree groups. Path students are co-ordinated to degree students but they do not receive student cards.

28 students entered TAMK through more compact path of Engineering Studies. The studies consist of Engineering Mathematics and - Physics (12-27 credits).
