Social Services and Health Care
International Week for Social Services and Health Care
Dates: 16 - 20 May 2016
Theme of the week: Learning and Teaching in Health Care and Social Services
Application period: by 1 May, 2016
DescriptionThe aim of this week is sharing best practises in learning and teaching, networking with colleagues, developing possible future projects together, and strengthening the collaboration with partners. Participating teachers have the opportunity to present the health care and social services system of their own country and share the latest innovations in teaching in a multicultural environment.
The programme consists of presentations, workshops, and round-table discussions, and the participants will get a chance to experience the Finnish culture and unique nature. In addition, there will be social programme, which gives a great opportunity to create new contacts.
The programme will start on Monday 16 May at 1 pm. All participants are invited to contribute to the programme of the week by giving a session on a relevant topic. The detailed programme will be designed in April when the teachers' participation has been confirmed and the topics for teaching and/or workshops have been agreed.
