There will be a significant reform in higher education in Kurdistan in near future and the delegates came to Finland to get to know the Finnish Universities and higher education institutions.

During their short visit, the delegates were introduced the ways that TAMK operates with the special focus on the pedagogical solutions, which are used at TAMK.

During their time at TAMK the delegates visited the environmental laboratory where Principal Lecturer Eeva-Liisa Viskari and Head of Degree Programme Mika Nieminen introduced some the projects which are done in collaboration with the working life.

The guests had special interest towards the fact that all the projects include student work in order to give our students practical experience on applied research projects.

During the visit, the delegates also got to see the Y-Campus, SCIL, Open Lab and Proacademy.

In addition to the visit to TAMK the delegation also visited University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology. During their time in Helsinki, the delegates also had a meeting with the Arene representatives.
