Application for English degree programmes begins on 8 January

TAMK offers five degree programmes of which three are bachelor-level and two master-level

Application for Tampere University of Applied Sciences' English degree programmes will begin on 8 January 2015. Bachelor's degrees can be completed in Media and Arts, Energy and Environmental Engineering, and International Business and master's degrees in International Business Management, and Screenwriting.

Bachelor's degree programmes

Degree Programme in Media and Arts, 48 study places
Degree Programme in Energy and Environmental Engineering, 30 study places
Degree Programme in International Business, 60 study places

The degree programmes are available for both Finnish and foreign applicants. The English bachelor's degree programmes offer a multicultural learning environment as about half of the students are foreigners.

Master's degree programmes

International Business Management, 25 study places
Screenwriting, 10 study places

Those with an applicable bachelor's degree are eligible for the master's degree programmes. The duration of the programmes is 1.5 years and extent 90 credits. The studies take place in English.

Student ambassadors make Tampere well-known

- Studying at TAMK has increased our international skills. The best parts have been the relaxed atmosphere, good facilities, and fluent cooperation between teachers and students. By being active and seizing opportunities, it is possible to build international networks already during the study time, tell International Business student Ekaterina Abakumova and Tourism student Johannes Paavola.

Paavola and Abakumova are TAMK's first international student ambassadors, TAMK Ambassadors. The student ambassadors are students who tell about Tampere as a study place and students' everyday life to Finnish and international audience in different events.

Application period ends on 27 January

Application takes place at service. The application period ends on 27 January 2016 and the studies begin in August 2016.
