Finna-search engine in is now in use in all the universities of applied sciences

National Digital Library's search engine Finna has been introduced in the last universities of applied sciences this fall.

TAMK's own Finna view https://tamk.finna.fi/?lng=en-gb has been in operation since August 2015, and it replaces the old OMA library database and e-resource portal Nelli, which will be run down at the end of 2016. In TAMK Finna you will find from the same search interface all TAMK library printed and electronic resources, including TAMK theses.

In addition to the national Finna.fi view https://finna.fi/?lng=en-gb the organizational Finna views collect data for all of the organizations that come to Finna. Currently Finna.fi has the collections of 14 archives, 48 museums and 40 libraries, including all universities of applied sciences and most universities. All in all, Finna has already more than 11 million items.

In Tampere Finna has the collections of TAMK, University of Tampere, Finnish Social Science Data Archives, Museums of Tampere and the Werstas, Finnish Labour Museum.
