Ikuinen Galleria: Jenni Karhapää ja Anna Pekkala - Urban Tribe

Ikuinen Galleria 25.9.-12.10.2012 Jenni Karhapää ja Anna Pekkala - Urban Tribe
Urban Tribe artwork is made by Tampere University of applied sciences 2nd year fine arts students Jenni Karhapää and Anna Pekkala.
Karhapää has been focused earlier mainly to oil and acrylic painting, but when it came to Urban Tribe art piece it seemed that photoghraphing was the right media.
Anna Pekkala has been searching the right tool to express herself, and sculpting and installaltions have started to feel like her own way to work. Pekkala has made the heads of recycled cardboard.
Human race is taking over living space from other species because of our greediness.
Let's be lustfull, let's be greedy, let's conquer all the lands. Let's stuff our hollowing, empty lives with plastic and materia while the money is making the beat!
