Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) offers Bachelor and Master level studies for approximately 10 000 students in six educational fields.
The education focuses on technology, business, culture as well as health and social welfare services. The School of Vocational Teacher Education (TAOKK) is also a part of TAMK. TAOKK provides the pedagogical qualification required of teachers in vocational institutions.
The tasks of the universities of applied sciences also include applied research and development as well as offering working-life based services.
In the field of international education TAMK is an active member of Future Learning Finland, which is a national education export programme offering Finnish educational know-how and learning solutions globally.
