OPENING HOURS
The library operates on the premises of the town library and follows its opening hours.
Mon-Fri from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sat closed until further notice
Service available Tue-Thu 12-15
On weekdays, students have access to the TAMK library and reading room already at 9 a.m. The entrance to the library between 9 and 10 a.m. is through the door by the parking place.
Exceptions to opening hours
SUMMER OPENING HOURS
- up to 31.5. normal opening hours
- 1.6.-31.7. TAMK customer service is closed (city library is open is open and TAMK self service loaning is available)
- 1.8. onwards TAMK customer service open normally
Collection
Fields: digital sound and commercial music, rich media, marketing and international business, accountancy and business administration.
Magazines and newspapers
The latest volumes of journals can be found at the student lounge rooms at Sipiläntie (B- and C-wing of the building). Newspapers Aamulehti and Helsingin Sanomat can be found by the entrance of the school.
Facilities
The library has a room for group work and a reading room with six workstations connected to the TAMK local area network and desks for private laptops. All workstations are equipped with English and Finnish office programs and Tixel -statistics programs. Customers also have access to a wireless network. The library lends laptops to students and members of the staff. The Toriseva Hall with 60 seats can be hired for teaching purposes and events.
